Long time, no blog.

That's the elephant in the room, isn't it? Where has our favorite silicone author been for the past two weeks? Well, folks, where haven't I been? I jetsetted off to LA to meet with some clients, headed off to Carlsbad to conduct some very important business (on the golf course, of course) and then capped it off with a short little trip to San Diego.

So I guess the answer to the question of, "where haven't I been" is that I haven't been to everywhere on Earth not listed above. Sort of seems like a lot of places when you think about it like that.

But I've digressed before I've even...gressed. I'm not here to talk about me. I'm here to talk about one of our very special clients.

San Diego is famous for it's zoo, but we here in New York have our share of famous zoos, too. And we had the pleasure of tagteaming with a very old, very historic zoo on a promotional project for their upcoming 2014 season. The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is a very special place, one where the elephants aren't just figuritive. They're real, they're big, they're beautiful, and they're bound to make the kids laugh when they poo.

The 5th oldest zoo in America has great taste in silicone wristbands. And I'm not surprised. You don't stay in business for as long as they have without a shrewed marketing team. Check out this awesome tweet from our furry friends. Well, probably not the furry friends. The animals probably aren't the ones tweeting. I don't think. I don't know one way or the other for a fact, though...I'll get back to you on that. But for now, the tweet: (by author unknown):

Now how cool is that? We're like twitter celebrities! It goes Kim Kardashian, Hulk Hogan and then us. Our klout score is at a billion right now. All thanks to our partners at Binghamton Zoo. They've got a great team over there. Follow them on twitter and more importantly, if you live in New York, go check out the zoo. It's well worth the trip!
