Notes on above infographic: According to Grantspace, there are currently 10.7 million non-profit employees and 1.5 million registered organizations. These two numbers were used to estimate the average employee size of a non-profit (7). Survey response data used was gathered by Hubspot.

I recently came across an informative blog by Steven Shattuck of Hubspot. He was discussing the perceived importance of social media vs how a non-profit actually delivers on its social media strategy. Informed by a 9000+ person survey, the results he uncovered are pretty startling.

Non-Profit Turns Pups Into Magazine Models

Po Psuto Moda is an example of an amazing viral awareness campaign. Poland has a stray dog problem. Many of them end up in temporary homes and adoptions centers. And for 70% of those pups… Well, they don’t end up in a happy home. That’s all I can say on the matter without feeling very sad and wanting to hug my own pup.

So these brilliant peeps decided they’d bring the internet down with the most adorable model photos in the history of earth. Stray dogs are mangy and undesirable? Pssh. Check out these cats (dogs)! They are as cute and magnificent as any dog on the planet!
