We’re Expanding Our Wristband Empire To Massachusetts!

Wristband Bros is spreading its wings and opening a second office location. I know, I know. We’re an e-commerce company that sells its wristbands online. What do you guys and gals care if we do that in New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Massachusetts?

Even though that is a true point, it doesn’t mean we can’t get super-excited! Wristband Bros got its start in Massachusetts over 6 years ago, so it’s a bit of a coming home party. But don’t worry New York, we’re keeping our office space there, too. I’m sure the two locations will get along like Red Sox and Yankee fans do… Meaning I think we’re going to spit in each other/s hot dog when the other guy ain’t lookin!

In honor of this momentous occasion, I created a Massachusetts-themed wristband using our soon-to-be-unveiled wristband designer. Check it out:

Chuck Bryant’s Bank Account – You Won’t Find It Here

I find myself burning the late night oil and listening to my favorite podcast. It’s called Stuff You Should Know and if you don’t know it… Well, you should. The show’s hosted by Chuck Bryant and Josh Clark. I haven’t a clue what these gentleman look like, but they’ve enriched my life quite a bit.* Instead of listening to a comedy podcast or the top 90’s music chart, I learn about things. And tonight I find myself learning about the deep web.

During their conversation, the two went back and forth about search engine indexing. As an example, Josh used “Chuck Bryant’s Bank Account” a number of times that just about anyone would think was inappropriate. We get it Josh – you’re searching Chuck’s bank account and it’s not coming up because it’s an encrypted page that isn’t indexed by Google. Can we spice things up by searching crazy turtle with funny eyeballs one time?

Cool Effect Fights Climate Change, One Person At A Time

If you’re on Instagram and you’re not following @CoolEffect_, it’s pretty safe to say that you’re a villain of the highest order (even higher than super). We kid, of course. Perhaps you’re just hearing of CoolEffect.org right now. And that’s okay… It’s a pretty new initiative.

So what does the Cool Effect organization do, anyhow? The concept is simple (and awesome). They highlight the very best in carbon saving initiatives around the world and make it super easy for you to donate to that particular cause. Want to help support the preservation of rainforests? Or assist Peruvian’s in gaining access to stoves that diminish their reliance on wood burning? It’s all as easy as a click of a few buttons. You can make a one-time donation or you can subscribe for monthly contributions to a cause that truly resonates with you.

Celebrate #PiDay with a Pirate Ship Riddle Wristband

There are a few things I know about pi. It starts with 3.14(insert a bunch of other numbers here). I know it relates in some very important way to a circle. If I had to guess, it’s the constant ratio between a circle’s circumference and its diameter.*

I also know that just because it sounds like PIE everyone gets a kick out of the number. Let’s be honest… If pi didn’t provide you an excuse to head to the nearest bakery for a lime tart, would you or anyone outside of your nearest Mathematics building care about it?

Now before I start getting hate mail from NASA, let me state unequivocally: I am sure it has extremely important mathematical implications. But so does the Golden Rule, The Feigenbaum constants, and many other constant values that have a cute little symbol and are catalogued here.

But you don’t see any of them trending on Twitter:

March Madness Is Upon Us… Time To Get All Our Picks Wrong

Just kidding, of course. The odds of getting all your March Madness picks wrong is pretty much non-existent. If you picked randomly, the odds of missing on every game is over 1 in 4 billion. You might be scratching your head thinking the odds should be even higher, but remember: You only need to get the first round entirely wrong to ensure the whole bracket is 100% wrong.

1 in 4 billion is still light-years better than picking a perfect bracket, though. Picking a perfect bracket is pretty much impossible:
