These days technology is everywhere. I’m no mathematician, but it seems like 1 out of every 2 hands has a smartphone in it. They’ve become an important part of life, and rightfully so – we’ve never before had this level of access to information in the palm of our hands. But at times the “ultimate” communication tool seems to hinder social interaction rather than promote it.

Behind the Bands: Walk the Ridge
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Walk the Ridge – a movement and learning organization whose mission is to promote the practice of civility between those with different opinions. No matter your background, backstory or political persuasion, it is their belief that through improved habits of listening and communication, we can make the world a nicer (and less hostile) place.
Check Out These Wristbands Recently Donated To America’s 5th Oldest Zoo!
We recently had the pleasure of donating wristbands to America’s 5th oldest zoo, Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park. This zoo is in Binghamton, NY and has been operational since 1875. These wristbands will be handed out as free items for their guests to enjoy. We hope it gives the zoo-goers a little something to remember the experience by (aside from all the amazing, awesome animal exhibits, of course!).
Bracelets For A Cause? Make Them With Us
If you’ve got a cause dear to your heart, wristbands can be a great idea to promote it. We’ve been helping our customers design and produce bracelets for their cause since 2009. Here are some recent examples:
Raising Awareness For Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM)
I recently had the pleasure of communicating with Anne Marie Lavallee. She’s a young woman who’s been put in an incredibly difficult situation. She’s dealing with it in a remarkably courageous way.
Anne Marie has a condition known as AVM. Before speaking with her, I’d never heard of it. She was kind enough to send me some information that I’d love to share with you. Instead of trying to re-write complicated medical text, I’ll share the definition I received from her. This information comes from StrokeAssociation.org.
