#HoganStrong: Governor Launches Wristband Fundraising Site

Maryland’s top politician was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in June of 2015. But instead of letting the diagnosis sour his outlook, Governor Larry Hogan has quickly launched a fundraising website

dedicated to raising money for cancer. His whole life has been dedicated to public service, so why would he handle this current life obstacle any differently?

Part of the fundraising includes everyone’s favorite fundraising product. What would that be? The silicone wristband, of course. Here’s a photo of New Jersey governor and Presidential candidate Chris Christie wearing a #HoganStrong wristband in support of Gov. Hogan.

Organizations that will receive donations from Larry Hogan’s fundraising page are as follows: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the Ronald McDonald House Baltimore and the University of Maryland Medical System Foundation.

Keep up the great work, Governor, and get well soon!
