Another day, another great organization that we at Wristband Bros want to support. If you haven’t heard of Best Buddies… Well, now you have. They’re an admirable nonprofit that works to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That’s a noble cause in our book, so we were happy to create some wristbands for one of their biggest annual events.

You caught us… We’re fans of animals (if you couldn’t tell by our mascot JD). To that end, we were happy to do our part when the Binghamton Zoo in NY was in need of wristbands to giveaway to their supporters.

They’ve become an important part of life, and rightfully so – we’ve never before had this level of access to information in the palm of our hands. But at times the “ultimate” communication tool seems to hinder social interaction rather than promote it.

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Walk the Ridge – a movement and learning organization whose mission is to promote the practice of civility between those with different opinions. No matter your background, backstory or political persuasion, it is their belief that through improved habits of listening and communication, we can make the world a nicer (and less hostile) place.

One of the biggest challenges with custom wristbands is printing custom logos on the wristband. We can print all sorts of shapes and colors, but often times the logo that a customer provides can be very difficult to transfer on to silicone.
