Christ Community Church’s “Live Love” Wristbands Raise Money For Local Student Missions

Wristband Bros recently had the privilege of working with Renae Brue from Christ Community Church in Rochester, Minnesota on some terrific “Live Love” fundraising wristbands. The wristbands are being sold to help local high school and middle school students cover the costs of important summer mission trips.

This summer, the high school students will be heading to Navajo Nation, Arizona. Once there, they will “Live Love by engaging children in recreational and spiritual activities, and assisting in work projects in the community.” This means participating in activities like painting houses for local families. Their important mission helps three-fold. The kids of Rochester get a positive, worthwhile experience. The kids of Navajo Nation get the same. All the while, the community and its residents benefit from their positive community work. It truly is a win-win-win.

Don’t worry, they haven’t forgotten about the middle schoolers. They’ll be heading to Cleveland, Ohio. This is the Christ Community Church’s 8th year working in the area. This is how Renae described their work there:

We partner with an inner-city church to help facilitate their children’s programs, as well as, work with a Family Ministry Center for refugees, an after-school program for mentoring, and spend time in the community. Our goal is to “Live Love” to all those we come in contact with during our trip.”

We couldn’t have been more thrilled to work with such an incredible organization! If you’d like to learn more about Christ Community Church, here’s their website. And if you’d like to donate to them immediately (hope you do!), head here.
