It appears the fashion world has passed Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) and Hansel McDonald (Owen Wilson) by. In the new trailer for Zoolander 2, they’re labeled Old and Lame by their younger counterparts. But if you were of age for the first film, it’s safe to say you’re old and lame, too. The original Zoolander was 14 years ago, after all. Boy does that make me feel old (and lame).
Will Ferrel makes a very welcome appearance as the fashion super-villain Jacobim Mugatu. It seems he’s spent some time in prison and that has done exactly zero to rehabilitate his horribly cruel (and incredibly funny) penchant for chaos. Add in the beautiful and talented Penelope Cruz as an Interpol agent and I think I smell a blockbuster hit in the making.
And I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t mention how much Justin Bieber loves bracelets…
